Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PMM App Development LLC (“PMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you. It applies to our website at pmmappdev.com, our mobile and web applications (including BlurtBox / “Blurt and Sound Off” and any future apps we release), and the content channels we operate on third-party platforms such as YouTube and TikTok (collectively, the “Services”).
Contents
01Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
We collect information you give us directly, including when you create an account, contact us, or use features within our apps. This may include:
- Account information — such as an email address, username, password (stored in hashed form), and any profile details you choose to add.
- Communications — the contents of messages you send us by email or through a contact form, and our responses.
- User content — posts, messages, reactions, reports, and other content you submit within our apps. Some apps (such as BlurtBox) are designed to allow anonymous or pseudonymous participation; even so, the content you submit and certain technical identifiers are processed as described below.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device and technical data — device type, operating system, app version, language settings, and device identifiers.
- Log and usage data — IP address, access times, pages or screens viewed, features used, and crash and diagnostic logs.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address or, where a feature requires it and you grant permission, coarse location data.
- Anonymous session identifiers — used in apps that support anonymous use to maintain a session and enforce safety and moderation rules.
Information from our content channels
When you watch, follow, or interact with our channels on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, those platforms collect information about you under their own privacy policies. We do not control that collection. We may receive aggregated, non-identifying analytics from those platforms (for example, view counts, audience demographics in ranges, and engagement metrics).
02How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- Process purchases and subscriptions and provide related support;
- Enforce our terms, moderate content, and keep the Services safe (including detecting abuse, spam, and prohibited content);
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- Analyze usage to understand and improve our products and content;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.
03How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — with vendors who process information on our behalf to run the Services (such as hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, payment and subscription management, and analytics providers), under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction — when you choose to make content public or otherwise direct us to share information.
04Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party providers, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy. Depending on the product, these may include:
- Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution, purchases, and subscriptions;
- Hosting and backend providers — for example, our website and database/authentication infrastructure;
- Subscription and in-app purchase management — to process and validate purchases;
- Email delivery — to send account and support emails;
- Analytics — to measure website and app usage;
- Content platforms — YouTube and TikTok, which host our channels.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platform you use to access our content or apps.
05Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality. Our apps do not use browser cookies but may use comparable on-device storage and identifiers for the purposes described above.
06Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
07Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@pmmappdev.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
U.S. state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA/UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
09Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some of our apps may carry higher age requirements set out in their store listings or end-user license agreements. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10International Users
We operate from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries that may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
